Meeting on Local Council Reforms Chaired by Minister LG&RDD

A meeting of the committee to review the recommendations regarding reforms in in local government municipal institutions, was held under the chairmanship of Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, at Kashmir House, Islamabad.

The meeting was attended by Dewan Ali Chughtai, Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, Irshad Ahmad Qureshi, Secretary of Local Government and Rural Development, along with representatives of elected chairmen and mayors of municipal institutions, the Director General of Local Government and Rural Development, the Secretary of the Local Government Board, and other senior government officials.
